Went to work this morning early since I had some things to do that are hard to do with customers around. All the other businesses on our block were closed except one restaurant. Got my things done, and realized that the only people I was seeing on the street were people walking their dogs, getting their exercise before the storm hit, or putting up plywood or shutters on their businesses. No one walking around just wandering, no tourists. Called the owner and finally convinced her that we weren’t going to get any business, and we didn’t need to open at all. So I spent the rest of the day at work, doing some heavy duty cleaning. I know, I’m a little crazy, but it was very relaxing 🙂
