Still don’t feel the same “gotta move” that I did a few weeks ago, but I am still determined to get myself in better condition to do the Mud Factor. I have 4 months to get ready.
I am starting the C25K today. Couch to 5K is a way to turn a total couch potato into a runner. I tried it years ago, but didn’t follow through. This time I will. Last time I started having pains in my shins, so Hubby got me some compression socks to run in, I hope they work.
The way C25K works is this. It times the run, and every set amount of time, it plays a tone, and a voice tells you it is time to walk, or run. The time changes as you progress, and it’s nice to have your own music playing and not have to worry about setting timers.
I went to the park, and couldn’t get my music to play during the app. I’m not walking/running/jogging to no music and just wait for the voice to tell me to run. Came back home after working on it for 10 minutes or so & Hubby worked on it and finally got it working. YAY, Hubby!
