I managed to pay off the front tooth’s root canal quickly. My savings is very low at for the moment. But I have had my other root canal done, and it feels much better, but of course I managed to have drama attached 🙂
I went in on a Monday. Man, I love having Cherie back, she doesn’t just provide great energy, but she can take my shift if I need her to. Anyway, I went in on Monday, they did the root canal and gave me a temporary crown. This was not one of the teeth I planned to get crowned, so I now have another. The dentist told me that she and her husband (the first dentist I saw) were going on vacation, but someone would be there if anything happened to the temp. I managed to break the temporary crown on Thursday eating a tuna pita. That’s it, canned tuna, mayo and a pita. No bones, just crown pieces. I called and got no answer. Called multiple times over the weekend, but no answer. I get it, 4th of July weekend. But the dentist told me someone would be there. 🙁 Fortunately, it didn’t hurt (no roots, so no nerve, so no pain :)) but I didn’t know what to do.
Finally, Monday I get a call. Yes, I do have to go in and get it replaced. It seems that the crown might not fit if the temp isn’t protecting it. Fine. I’ll go. I went, and Lymma got me fixed up. I really like this office and the staff.
The long and short of this is that I now have a new crown, more debt (twice the price of the first one, more roots & crown), and a new dentist office. It isn’t walkable, so I have to Uber, but I think it is worth it to have people I am comfortable with.
