I’ve been away from this, and away from myself for a while. I am back now, and feeling somewhat better.
I’ve signed up for the Terrain Race on February 8th, Glow 5K in May, and just finished the Jingle Bell Jog last weekend.
I’m still working out, Rob got me running shoes, so I am running again. Still don’t like it, but I’m doing it.
I turned my ankle a week and a half ago, but it is getting better and better every day. I still went to Zumba, which was a mistake, but I mostly did just the arms while sitting on the exercise ball. Definitely no bootcamp! Still did the Jingle Bell Jog the next weekend. Anthony, my neighbor, talked me into it. I had fun! We ran up A1A, then turned around and ran back. On the way back, I passed 2 blocks from my car and almost quit, but I saw someone walking by with a cupcake. I was energized to finish so I could get one, too 🙂
I’m looking into a hot chocolate run in January. Hot chocolate bar at the end!!
