Been doing a lot of core work this week and my lower back is killing me! JP from 9Round kickboxing has me doing sit up during the intervals. I don’t think I’ve written about this yet.
9Round kickboxing is basically circuit training with a trainer. There are 9 stations and you do 3 minutes at each station, and a 30 second interval between each station. First station is a warm up, 2nd is weights
Third is an adjustable height punching bag
4th and 6th is punching and side kicking this bag
5th is punching, kicking and kneeing this type of bag
7th is kneeing, punching, kicking, and slamming my fists down on this bag.
8th is the speed bag, so far he just has me working on my rhythm
9th and last is a cool down/ab workout
I very much enjoy kicking and punching! When I joined, I got gloves and hand wraps as part of my initial cost. No purple available, so I went with the next best!
