I’ve been exhausted lately, I think it is because I feel overwhelmed. I shouldn’t, I don’t really have too many things to do, they are just really big things to do.
There are really only 8 things I have to do each day. Not including going to work, personal hygiene stuff, get dressed, etc. I just have so much to do on each of the 8 things, that I can’t get myself started. Rob suggested I number each thing, and have a piece of paper for each number, mix them up and pick one. I don’t have to decide, nice 🙂 He also suggested that I only plan to do 15 minutes, and if I want to do more, go ahead, but at least you have put something into it.
I have 50ish pages to fix so I can start my online coloring pages. I’m going to do 5 pages instead of using a time limit, I think that will work better for me on this one.
Exercise is also on my list, I was too exhausted to do that last week, too. I found some 10 minute workouts, they should get me started.
Blogging is also on the list, there is just so much and yet so little to talk about that I don’t know where to start. Just blog about one thing, I can do another post if I feel so inclined. If I take pictures of something for the blog, does it count? If I prep those pics, does it count? If I do more than one blog post, does it count just for the day? Or can I count them as a different day?
I am scanning my patterns so I can eliminate a ton of space, but there are just so many to do. Just do 5.
My needlework is another thing on the list. Do I crochet a doll? Cross-stitch a mermaid? Needlepoint a counting set? Just do 5 stitches. If I can just get myself started on one of them, I will keep going, but which? Maybe I should draw numbers for this, too. Hmmmm
Cosplay. I have to pull the extension cord outside, find my dremel, find the pieces I’m working on, then I can work on it. As long as it is still daylight, and not raining. I did this almost every day last summer during the CoVid lock-down, but I can’t get going now. I think getting ready will take most of the 15 minutes 🙁 If I blog about cosplay, does it count?
Get rid of 1 thing. Just one thing. It will add up so that I won’t have to start purging all at once when we get everything ready. But does the scanning count? I give them to Rob to put on Ebay when I am done scanning, but they are still in the house. Does it count when I decide to donate something but don’t do it immediately, because who has time to go to the donation place every day with just one thing? If I get rid of 2 things, do I have to do it the next day? I need to decide what that really means, I guess.
Add adventures to our travel ideas. I tend to have a vague idea and write it down, but Rob thinks I need to expand on it. Where exactly in Oregon? Crater Lake? Great, are there tours? Just drive and look at it? Can we park there? Apparently I need to flesh out the ideas, too.
Those are my 8 things to do. Not much, but so much more. Now I have marked one thing off my list for the day 🙂
