I got a hot glue gun a few months ago for a reason that escapes me right now. I got a cheap one because I wasn’t sure how much use it would get, and since I can’t remember why I got it, it didn’t get much use. I remember now!! It’s been a year, because I got it for my Halloween costume last year. I needed to glue parts to my purse. I’m so glad I remembered, I’ve been having trouble with that lately 🙁
Well, I started a new Halloween project and started using the glue gun, but it was taking a long time. Remember, I got a cheap one. I was making “candles” and I needed to make it look like they had wax dripping down the sides. (Check out the Spooky Candles post) It was taking a long time because I needed to make the drips longer and thicker to look like they were well-used. So I got a new one. Weightier, multiple temperature options, bigger glue sticks, medium price. I used it this morning, but the trigger was really hard to pull. I ended up going back to the cheap one to finish up my candles. I am going to try and figure out what is going on and if I need to send it back. (I mentioned it to hubby, so maybe he will work on it this afternoon)
