So the last few months have been challenging health-wise. I rarely get sick, I have been plagued by migraines most of my life, but I am used to them unless it is an outrageously bad one. I cannot get used to these ear issues. I seem to be getting infections. Last year I had my first, and it ended up being inner and outer ear infections in both ears! The ears were painful to the touch, when moving my jaw, and sometimes just brushing my hair and moving the scalp in that area. I couldn’t hear very well, it was hard to sleep, and it made me absolutely miserable. When I am miserable, I am not very nice 🙁
We canceled my insurance earlier this year. We had a contract on our land up in Carolina, and if it sold, we would have to repay the government for their part of my coverage. Capital gains and all that crap. Well, the buyer backed out the day before the 3-month hold on their earnest money was over. So they wasted our time for 3 months, and didn’t even try for the financing that they said we were waiting for. 🙁 People suck! Anyway, I am without insurance until the new year. 28 days and I will go get the medication to knock this out. I started using a combination of generic Claritin, generic Sinutab and ibuprophen. It took most of the issue away, but using the “Sinutab” isn’t good for you in the long run. It raises your blood pressure, and I am pre-hypertensive, so making it higher for weeks on end isn’t a good idea. It isn’t a good idea to take ibuprophen for long periods of time, either. Actually, it isn’t a good idea to take anything for long periods of time, so I stopped the “Sinutab” and ibuprophen. My ears are still swollen and echo-ey 🙁 I can’t wait for the New Year and insurance!!!
